Building Permit Center

The City of Stayton Permit Center is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Offices are located in the Public Works Administration office at 311 N. Third Avenue. If you have any questions, the Administrative Assistant can be reached at (503) 769-2919.
 
The City of Stayton contracts with Marion County for plan review and construction inspection to certify compliance with state and local codes.
 
All residential and commercial structural permit applications and plans must be submitted directly to the City of Stayton Public Works Administration office. 

 

Private onsite water quality and detention facility plans, calculations, and operation and maintenance plans shall be submitted with the building permit application and plans. The City of Stayton Department of Public Works shall review and approve stormwater submittals prior to forwarding the structural permit application and plans to Marion County.
