Kids Safety Town 2025

Join us for Stayton's Kids Safety Town!

Safety Town is weeklong, half-day summer camp for children ages five and six.  The Stayton Public Library and Stayton Police Department partner together to help kids better understand the basics of safety.

Safety Town will be from Monday, August 18, 2025 through Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Stayton Public Library, 515 N 1st Ave, Stayton, OR 97383.

Campers will learn important safety concepts, such as:

  • 911
  • Bike, Pedestrian, and School Bus Safety
  • Fire and Water Safety
  • Internet Safety
  • Animal Safety
  • Poison Awareness
  • Police and Trusted Friends
  • and so much more!

Registration for campers is currently open!

Registration is FREE, of course and will remain open until full.

Camper registration requires a parent/guardian signature. Return your forms to the Stayton Public Library to complete your registration.

Volunteer Counselors are Needed!

We are currently accepting applications for volunteer counselors, ages 11-18.
